On the Air!
Michael Hall has been a fan of radio since childhood. Due to living in Los Angeles, California there were a lot of influences. According to Michael, there were many choices and styles to choose from, including stations like KIIS -FM, KDAY, KJLH, POWER 106 and deejays such as Rick Dees, BIG Ron, David Michaels, Kevin Brown Tony Fields, David and Frankie Ross. “The deejays in those days were able to make things come alive in my head.”
Michael got his start in Los Angeles on radio and worked as an on-air deejay as well as in other positions. After moving to Charlotte, he was hired at Radio One as the Production Manager. He has also been a mobile deejay which allowed him to live out his radio fantasies in front of large audiences.
In January, he was hired as the operations manager for WSGE. In addition, Michael Hall (AKA Michael Stevens) is the afternoon drive deejay on Tuesday – Thursday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. He considers this job a blessing and a great opportunity to help others by sharing things he has learned over the years. In his spare time, he’s an avid drummer.
Help us welcome Michael to WSGE and feel free to share your thoughts on his shows by filling out the station’s feedback form!
