Carolina Gator Gumbo - 5/9 @ 3:30pm

cggCarolina Gator Gumbo, based in Charlotte NC, is a well seasoned Cajun and Creole band bringing festive music from southwest Louisiana to the Carolinas since the early 90's. This friendly mix of high spirited musicians have sought and studied Cajun/Creole music, dance and culture with masters at various jams, festivals and workshops throughout the southeast.

 

 

 

 


CottonMouth - 5/16 @ 9:00am

cmCottonMouth writes and performs music that is generated from the hearts and souls of musicians who are influenced by the music of the 70's and 80's.  These talented local msucians grew up listening to artists like Hank Sr. and Jr., Led Zeppelin, George Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Merle Haggard, Chicago, Waylon Jennings, AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd. It’s always a great time when the boys from Cottonmouth are in the studio, so here’s your invitation for some great music and a rockin’ good time

 


Robin & Tony Rogers - 5/16 @ 2:00pm

rrIn the late sixties when America's youth was "rediscovering the Blues," Robin Rogers was "living the Blues” and it’s starting to look like all that hard work is finally paying off.  Fresh on the heels of top placement in the 2007 International Songwriting Competition for her song “ Color Blind Angel “ and signing with Blind Pig Records [with a brand-new CD scheduled for June 2008], Robin and Tony return to WSGE to celebrate with friends

 

 

 

 


The Spongetones - 5/16 @ 4:30pm

stThe Spongetones new album, Too Clever by Half, is proving once again that they are the collective gold standard for vocal pop groups. They have just completed the music video for the title-cut and like their stupendous Number 9 album, it will be hard to beat when it comes time to tally up the list of best pop albums of 2008.
